Job Description:
Multiple Openings. Manager III (Sales & Service - US/Voice of
the Customer) for Wayfair LLC in Boston, MA to write advanced SQL scripts to collect data from complex SQL databases;
develop automated reports using stored procedures and functions; utilize deep understanding of advanced
statistics and mathematics to conduct data manipulation; prepare statistical analyses using various methods
to predict dependent variables and optimize outcomes with constraints; analyze customer service data to root
cause customer issues and prioritize enhancements; train and manage team of analysts building
prediction models; train new members of Service Innovation team in navigating Wayfair’s data warehouses and
reviewing accuracy of models; interpret outcomes from statistical analysis and present findings to executive
leadership and key business stakeholders; partner with business stakeholders to identify key factors and requirements for each
project; and obtain buy-in for project methodology. Requires Master’s degree in Operations Research, Engineering,
Economics, Finance, or related field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent) plus two years' experience
performing data analysis and data modeling to inform business insights or, alternatively, a bachelor's degree in
Operations Research, Engineering, Economics, Finance, or related field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent)
and five years' experience performing data analysis and data modeling to inform business insights. One year of
experience must include: Creating strategic roadmaps for growth and managing implementation against deadlines and
milestones; Leading development of Big Data Analytics solutions leveraging the latest data analysis techniques
(including machine learning) for large quantities of structured and unstructured data; Reporting on business case analysis and
revenue analysis using Excel; Interfacing with cross- functional team and engineers; Performing experimental design
and hypothesis testing including A/B testing and multivariate testing (MVT); Building predictive models, using
historical data to predict target markets, customer segments, messaging and spending; Evaluating predictive models
including ROI analysis and back testing on historical data for evaluating future predictions; Performing
SQL data extraction and manipulation for building models and creating views; Utilizing R to create statistical and
mathematical models; and Utilizing Tableau to perform data visualization for senior management presentations. Wayfair LLC is willing to accept a suitable combination of
