*Job description*We are looking for an outstanding Registered Dental Hygienists to join our single location private dental office. Our Mission is to Provide care to our patients as if they are members of our own family. We want every member of our team to be proud of what they do and have the tools and resources to do so. We have all the best dental related technology because we are striving to provide the best level of care possible. Our office is completely digital with overhead aerosol vacuums in every operatory. We are an amalgam free office and we do not wish to expose our team members or our patients to the harmful effects of mercuryWe strive to provide our patients with the best care possible with the most state of the art equipment available. We value preventative care and we strive to educate our patients on the importance of it, if you want to love what you do, wed like to meet you.*Responsibilities** Conduct initial intra-oral health screenings as well as reviewing health and oral health histories* Conduct annual full mouth periodontal probings with the help of an assitant* Conduct regular prophylactic cleanings as part of our re-care program AND conduct scaling and root planing as part of our periodontal program* Educate patients of all ages on proper hygiene* Take full mouth X-rays and panoramic X-rays with the help of an assistant* Take intra oral photos of dental findings to use as part of our patient education* Assist our dentists with reviewing treatment options*Skills** Proven experience as Dental Hygienist or similar role* In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations in this profession (e.g. HIPAA)* Experience in preparing and maintaining dental equipment* Outstanding communication skills* A patient and friendly personality* Attention to detail* Passion to provide exceptional patient care* Diploma in Dental Hygiene; Masters is a plus* Valid license to practice in RISalary: $45 and upSchedule:* Monday to Friday* No nights* No weekendsWork Location: One locationJob Types: Full-time, Part-timePay: From $45.00 per hourBenefits:* 401(k)* Employee discount* Health insurance* Paid time offSchedule:* Monday to Friday* No nights* No weekendsAbility to commute/relocate:* East Providence, RI 02914: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)License/Certification:* Registered Dental Hygienist RI license (Required)* Dental License (Preferred)Work Location: In personby Jobble
