Job Description & Requirements Specialty: OR - Operating Room Discipline: RN Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Local Contract WCS Healthcare is currently seeking an Operating Room RN for a contract-to-perm assignment at a prestigious surgery center in Hamden, CT. Job Function: Day Shift. 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. Position patients and adjust equipment to capture high-quality images as directed by physicians. Set up, operate, and maintain imaging equipment in accordance with established protocols. Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout procedures, both physically and emotionally. Follow strict radiation safety protocols to minimize exposure for patients and staff. Assess procedural conditions and equipment functionality to support accurate diagnostics. Job Requirements: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing or holder of a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN). Active RN license in the state of practice. 2 years of OR experience. BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association.
