Start Date: 2/17/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is
working with talent4health to find a qualified ER/Trauma RN in
Windsor, Vermont, 05089! THIS NEED IS FOR A HOUSE SUPERVISOR/ED
TRAVELER. "STRAIGHT" ED TRAVELERS WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS
NEED - TRAVELER MUST HAVE SUPERVISORY EXPERIENCE. PLEASE DO NOT
UPLOAD A TRAVELER TO THIS ASSIGNMENT WHO WOULD LIKE TO WORK IN
CONJUNCTION WITH ANOTHER PERM PLACEMENT OR TRAVEL ASSIGNMENT.
PLEASE DO NOT UPLOAD A TRAVELER TO ANY NEED ON MY DESK WHO IS GOING
TO REQUEST SCHEDULE ACCOMMODATIONS (Block scheduling, etc). Thank
you! With a growing reputation for short wait times, almost all
patients in Mt. Ascutney’s ED are seen within 30 minutes or less.
of beds: 10 ED beds Typical 24-hour patient census: 8-15 patients,
anything more than 12-15 patients/day would be considered "busy"
Patient Population: All ages The ED department works with PAs! The
Emergency Nurse must be able to think on your feet and prioritize
quickly. Must have the flexibility to continually restructure,
sometimes by the minute your time. Must be able to obtain a health
history as well as complete an accurate physical assessment and
plan for treatment. Critical thinking and sharp decision making are
essential for this role. Good communication skills are imperative.
Must be able to deal with unplanned situations and it is not
unusual to experience angry and even combative behaviors expressed
by patients or their families. Attributes for success as an
emergency department Nurse are compassion, humor, good
organizational skills, and being a team player. Requested time off
during the course of this assignment MUST be noted and verified at
upload. RTO REQUESTS AFTER UPLOAD WILL NOT BE APPROVED NO MORE THAN
5 DAYS OF RTO WILL BE ACCEPTED (less is better). Local Travelers -
Those who reside within 50 miles of the facility - are not eligible
for this need. This is a small community without public transport.
Traveler candidate must have their own vehicle. This is a firm
requirement. 8hrs non-billable orientation Call-back, Holiday and
