registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1 years RN experience

be considered. A contract opportunity is available for an
experienced RN with step-down, PCU, Med-Surg, or Telemetry nursing
skills to work the night shift in a critical access hospital
setting. This role includes an every-other-weekend rotation and
requires the ability to work independently as well as perform
charge nurse responsibilities. Flexibility to float to other units
as needed is essential. Location: Newport, Vermont, a picturesque
area in the Northeast Kingdom known for its scenic beauty and
strong community feel. Working in this 25-bed critical access
hospital means providing vital care in a close-knit setting where
your skills make a significant impact. Responsibilities: - Deliver
comprehensive nursing care on the step-down, PCU, Med-Surg, or
Telemetry units during night shifts - Serve as charge nurse,
overseeing patient care and unit operations during assigned shifts
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality
patient outcomes - Float to other units as necessary to support
staffing needs - Participate in quarterly department education
sessions to maintain clinical skills and compliance Qualifications
or Desired Experience: - Valid RN license with experience in
step-down, PCU, Med-Surg, or Telemetry nursing - Proven ability to
work independently and manage charge nurse duties - Flexibility to
adapt to unit needs and shifts including every other weekend -
Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills This
