In this role, you will work closely with occupational therapists to implement therapeutic plans and help patients develop, recover, improve, and maintain the skills needed for daily living and working. Assist occupational therapists in evaluating patients' situations, capabilities, and progress. Implement therapeutic plans designed by occupational therapists tailored to patient needs. Help patients develop skills and techniques required for daily living and professional activities. Document patient progress and adapt therapeutic plans as needed. Ensure treatment area and all equipment are prepared and maintained. Communicate with patients, families, and other healthcare staff effectively. Knowledge of therapeutic practices and patient management. Ability to work effectively within a team. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Detail-oriented with strong observational skills. Valid Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license. CPR/BLS Certification preferred.
