Registered Nurse (RN) | Progressive Care Unit Location: Manchester, NH Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,167 per week Shift Information: Days - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 3/2/2026 About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Stepdown Cardiac Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years in PCU; ED experience preferred License: Valid RN license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, EKG Test on arrival Must-Have: Strong PCU background within the last year EPIC experience preferred Weekend availability (every other weekend required) First-timers accepted with 2 years of experience and EPIC experience Description: This position involves caring for inpatient/CICU level holds in the emergency department. Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, with a strong background in progressive care. ED experience is preferred but not required. The nurse will be required to manage and titrate drips such as Lasix, Heparin, Cardizem, Amiodarone, Nitroglycerin, Integrillin, Labetalol, Dopamine, and Dobutamine. Common patient diagnoses include chest pain, syncope, heart failure, sepsis, overdose, GI bleed, COPD, and pneumonia. Additional populations may include medical, surgical, trauma, oncology, and orthopedic cases as overflow. The nurse will see patients post-cardiac catheterization with stent placement (no CABG), as well as those requiring ICD or pacer insertions and cardioversions. Familiarity with special equipment such as Bipap, CPAP, Vapotherm, Alaris Pumps, and monitoring systems is essential. The nurse will work closely with interdisciplinary teams, including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, and social services. Effective communication and collaboration with rapid response teams and pharmacy personnel is expected. Responsibilities will include patient assessment, care planning, implementation of interventions, and evaluation of patient progress.
