Length: 13 Weeks Schedule: Day Shift | 5x8s (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM) Pay
Rate: Up to $65/hour Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,437.50 Job Overview
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Speech-Language
Pathologist (SLP) for a 13-week contract assignment in an acute
care hospital setting . This position is ideal for a clinician who
excels in fast-paced environments and has strong experience working
with adult and geriatric populations . The role focuses heavily on
dysphagia management and neurogenic communication disorders . Key
Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive clinical evaluations,
including bedside swallow assessments Evaluate and treat patients
with CVA, dysarthria, and oral motor disorders Develop, implement,
and reassess individualized Plans of Care (POC) Recommend and apply
appropriate diet modifications and compensatory strategies
Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams for care
coordination and discharge planning Complete accurate and timely
documentation in the electronic medical record Qualifications &
Requirements Experience: Minimum 2–5 years of experience required;
5 years preferred Prior experience in an acute care or community
hospital setting strongly preferred Certifications: Certificate of
Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) Current BLS (Basic Life Support)
Licensure: Active Rhode Island SLP license Clinical Expertise:
Dysphagia management CVA rehabilitation Neurogenic communication
