Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Interventional Radiology Technologist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Start Date: 03/30/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Assignment Overview - Shift: Days, 5x8hrs - Hours: 40 hrs/wk - Start Date: Mar 30, 2026 - Length: 13 weeks - Openings: 1 Description American Traveler is hiring a Travel IR Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Portsmouth, NH, requiring a minimum of 2 years of IR or Cath Lab experience and active ARRT certification with NH licensure. Details - Located in the Interventional Radiology department of a main hospital building, on the 1st floor - Unit consists of 2 IR suites staffed by 4 IR nurses and 4 IR techs - Average of 10 patients per room - Equipment includes Philips biplane and Toshiba single plane systems - Procedures include PICC lines, paracentesis, thoracentesis, kyphoplasty, port placement, ablations, ESI, EKOS for PE, and Trevo for stroke - Day shift schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–4:00 PM - On-call coverage required every 3rd to 4th weekend and one weeknight per week Requirements - Minimum of 2 years of IR or Cath Lab experience required; must have active experience within the last 6 months - Active ARRT certification required - Active NH state license required (license required if applicable) - BLS certification required; certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start - SSN and DOB required for consideration; no Canadian SSNs accepted - One professional reference required (two required for candidates from Florida or Missouri) - No gaps in work history of 90 days or more in the past 12 months Additional Information - IR Neuro experience is a plus and will be prioritized during the candidate review process - Hospital scrubs are provided - Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible; no local candidates will be considered American Traveler Job ID P-681233.
