Experience the rewarding work of labor and delivery in a supportive environment./n/nJob Description:/n/n- Position: Women’s and Children’s L&D RN/n- Requirements:/n - Minimum 1 year of L&D and LDRP experience/n - Prior travel experience is essential/n - Certifications: BLS, NRP required; ACLS, PALS (or PEARS), STABLE preferred/n - Epic experience from within the past 2 years is mandatory/n - Experience in neonatal resuscitations, assigning APGAR scores, and administering newborn medications at delivery/n/n- Work Schedule:/n - Floating and call required (2 – 12 hour shifts in a rolling 4-week timeframe)/n - Minimum of every other weekend, with schedules adjusted based on unit needs/n/n- Unit Details:/n - Women and Children’s Unit specializes in Labor and Delivery, Newborn, and Postpartum care/n - Total of 7 inpatient beds and approximately 300 deliveries per year/n - Nurse-to-patient ratio during active labor or on Pitocin: 1:1; Couplets: 2-3 patients depending on census/acuity/n/n- Technology and Support:/n - Documentation System: Epic /n - Medication System: Pyxis /n - Advanced practice team available on-unit/n/n- Additional Information:/n - Orientation typically lasts 3 - 12 hour shifts/n - Scrubs provided in light blue/n - Reliable transportation is a must; public transportation not accessible in the area/n/n- Patient Population:/n - Covers Labor, Delivery, Newborn, Postpartum, and occasional Med/Surg overflow/n - Comprehensive care for patients of all ages/n/nWhy Catalytic Solutions (CatSol): /nAt CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
