We close at 12:30pm every Friday from Memorial Day through Labor Day — giving our team more time to relax, recharge, and enjoy the summer sunshine! Northeast Family Services is seeking a Intensive Needs RBT to join our growing team! FFS - Fee For Service Position The Intensive Needs RBT will be responsible for the implementation of clients’ behavior support plans to decrease problematic behavior and provision of ABA-based instruction to promote development of new skills, at the direction of their supervising BCBA. The Registered Behavior Technician will monitor client behavior, collect data on client behavior, and report the data back to supervising BCBA. The Registered Behavior Technician will work collaboratively with the supervising BCBA and client’s family to support meaningful changes in client behavior. Qualifications: Certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) - REQUIRED Have a minimum of 5 years of experience- REQUIRED (Working with persons with developmental disabilities, children, adolescents, transitional age youth, or families, and experience working with adolescents requiring comprehensive level care) Availability to work early afternoon hours (e.g.1:30-4:00) - REQUIRED Valid driver’s license with reliable and consistent access to a vehicle Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills Experience in applied settings implementing behavioral interventions preferred Effective written and verbal communication skills A compassionate approach to care Benefits: Summer Fun Fridays! A two-year contract is offered following successful completion of fieldwork experience. Hands on training, with ongoing clinical support from supervising BCBA Access to multiple, free monthly professional development and training activities on a rotation of relevant topics and skills Individualized supervision, focused on achievement of professional goals and skill advancement Access to company technology, with productivity agreement of 20 hours/week Tuition reimbursement program available to eligible employees Flexible schedule, built to meet staff needs Compensation: Starting at $25/hour Competitive Fee For Service Rates Potential for full time hours Ready for a summer schedule that works for you? ??
