Adult Primary Care Physician Locum Tenens

Location: Worcester, Massachusetts
Schedule: Monday Friday 8:00 AM 5:00 PM (1-hour unpaid lunch)
Weekly Structure: 32 clinical hours + 8 administrative hours
Duration: 6 months
Setting: Outpatient Primary Care

Position Highlights

• Adult outpatient primary care clinic
• Approximately 18 patients per day / 70 patients per week
• Standard visit length: 30 minutes
• Occasional 15-minute urgent visits and 45-minute new patient visits
• Team-based care model
• 1:1 Medical Assistant support
• Access to onsite behavioral health, psychiatry, social work, and specialty support
• Opportunity to collaborate with advanced practice providers and medical residents
• Strong nursing triage and administrative support structure
• Easy access to lab and imaging services

Requirements

• MD/DO Adult Primary Care, Internal Medicine, or Family Medicine
• Active Massachusetts license preferred
• DEA and CSR required
• Epic experience preferred (Dragon dictation available)
