Volt is immediately hiring a Customer Service Manager in Rumford, RI.As a Customer Service Manager, you will:Interface with Customers in support of new business opportunities as well as existing programsApply experience and knowledge as it relates to Planning, Procurement and Customer Service to improve the overall service, efficiency and effectivenessConduct analysis of customer forecasts, historical sales data and apply company internal parameters to reduce raw material purchase/process costsOptimize production schedules to maximize manufacturing efficiency, and manage company inventory in accordance with prescribed parametersWork with the Supply Chain Manager to establish and monitor department goals and objectivesConduct and/or direct the training of new employees within the customer service departmentPrepare employee performance related documentationThis is DIRECT HIRE opportunity.The ideal candidate will have the following experience:5 years of Customer Service or Planning experience within a manufacturing company5 years of supervisory experienceERP and/or SAP software experienceEffective time management skills to prioritize workloadStrong motivator and communicator to help team achieve goals and objectivesPay rate: $80,000 - $100,000*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.Benefits: Since this is a Direct Hire role, benefits will be provided by the employer.Qualified candidates should APPLY NOW for immediate consideration!
