Job Description:
Aramark is seeking a Chef & Food Production Manager to lead and
innovate in our Food & Beverage Operations department. This
position blends culinary arts with management skills to enhance our
service delivery in various client facilities, including
institutions, universities, schools, and hospitals. The role
requires a dedication to crafting exceptional food experiences
while efficiently managing kitchen and food production operations.
As a part of Aramark, a leader in food service, you will be
instrumental in upholding our commitment to excellence and
innovation. Oversee the daily operations of the food service
department ensuring compliance with Aramark’s standards of quality
and safety. Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality food services
in line with budgetary considerations and client expectations.
Manage inventory and procurement of food and supplies, maintaining
relationships with suppliers and ensuring cost-effectiveness and
minimal waste. Supervise and train kitchen staff, promoting a
culture of respect, hard work, and team-building. Implement new
culinary initiatives and menus, staying current with industry
trends to keep offerings fresh and appealing. Collaborate with
other managers and staff to ensure a cohesive operation. Maintain
accurate records of food costs, consumption, and forecast needs.
Ensure strict adherence to health and safety regulations at all
times. Strong culinary and food production knowledge Excellent
leadership and personnel management skills Budget management and
cost control abilities Strong organizational skills and the ability
to multitask Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced
environment Effective communication and interpersonal skills
