Job Description:
Clean Harbors, a leader in North America for delivering critical
environmental, energy, and industrial services, seeks a dedicated
Hazmat CDL Route Driver to join our logistics team. This position
is pivotal in ensuring the safe and compliant transportation of
hazardous materials, aligning with our mission to sustainably
protect the environment. As a Hazmat CDL Route Driver, you will
handle and transport waste while adhering to strict environmental,
health, and safety regulations. Your role ensures our commitment to
safety and environmental stewardship by properly managing routes
and documentation, maintaining vehicles to safety standards, and
operating in compliance with DOT and hazardous waste regulations.
Safely transport hazardous materials to various locations using
company vehicles, ensuring compliance with all governmental
regulations. Manage and maintain accurate logs and documentation
for compliance and reporting purposes. Perform daily inspections of
vehicles and equipment, reporting any irregularities or necessary
maintenance. Ensure the safe loading and unloading of hazardous
wastes and materials. Adhere to all company policies and legal
regulations to prevent any hazardous situations. Respond to
emergency situations or spills as trained and directed. Proficient
in driving large vehicles Strong understanding of DOT and Hazardous
Waste regulations Able to handle emergency response situations
effectively Excellent navigation and route management skills
