Nordson EFD designs and manufactures components for controlled fluid flow including desktop dispensing equipment, precision valves, tips, dual dispensing cartridges and syringes. Our products are used in a broad range of market segments including, Life Sciences, Animal Health, Electronics, Automotive and Construction. Job Description Summary

The entry level Business Development Representative is responsible for addressing the needs of our customers, by working alongside the associated Territory Managers and Regional Sales Managers to grow our revenue in these segments by uncovering new sales opportunities.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Diagnosing customer concerns and issues by engaging with customers, You will use your discretion and independent judgement to make critical equipment recommendations which significantly impact company branding, revenue and profits.

  • Using market data to identify target markets and implement direct marketing campaigns with a target audience.

  • Being able to handle conflict resolution with customers (autonomous)

  • General Business Operations: data management, marketing assignments and TBD office assignments

  • Making outbound calls to uncover new sales op

  • Making outbound calls to uncover new sales opportunities

  • Taking inbound calls answering customers' questions

  • Sending and answering emails to and from customers

  • Develop data analysis skills so that they can Independently identify and engage with customers.

Education and Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree with entry level, related experience of 1-3 years

  • In lieu of Bachelor's Degree, Associates Degree will be considered with entry level, related experience of 3-5 years

  • Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications
