Job Description:
A company is looking for a Trauma Registrar (Remote).
Key Responsibilities
Manage Trauma Registry activities, including data collection,
management, analysis, and reporting
Abstract patient data and generate reports for state and regulatory
agencies
Participate in the preparation and maintenance of hospital Trauma
Center designation and support data submission to relevant
agencies
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
High School Diploma preferred or equivalent
Minimum of 3 years of experience in the healthcare (trauma)
industry
Less than 1 year of preferred experience in abstracting and coding
using ICD-10 CM
Abbreviated Injury Scale (AIS) coding certification required within
12 months of hire
Successful completion of anatomy course and relevant trauma
registrar training within specified timeframes
