Come join our team as a Process Technician I! In this role, you will perform all of the duties necessary to set up and ready a press for production, this may include the completion of the first piece inspection and paperwork, -under the direction of a supervisor or a Process Technician II. They must also be able to make basic adjustments and/or repairs to maintain the continuity of production.
How You Will Make an Impact:

• Install and remove molds, water lines and additional support equipment.
• Prepare all paperwork associated with the production jobs as well as use any computerized tracking systems
• Purge, install established parameters and have machines either started or ready for start up
• Make basic adjustments to maintain quality products
• Start up or shut down all equipment as required for beginning or ending a shift
• Perform basic inspection of products for defects
• Perform basic repairs on auxiliary equipment to maintain production
• Clean and changing over internal mold components as needed
• Take an active role in the training of other production personnel, where appropriate
• Perform other support duties and assist in implementing lean initiatives as required
• Performs material handling and room support functions, as needed
• Must be available for overtime and/or temporary shift changes as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned

      Shift Available:
      • 2nd Shift: Mon-Fri, 3:00PM - 11:30PM (Shift premium available)
      • Must be available for overtime and/or temporary shift changes if needed
        
        Qualifications To Be Successful:
        • High School Diploma or GED.
        • 1+ years of molding and/or die setter experience or 1+ years of press attendant experience within Nordson EFD's injection molding department
        • Able to speak, read and write in English and have the ability to read and comprehend simple work instructions, short correspondence and memos
        • Interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form as required
        • Solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only standardization exists
        • Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
        • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs such as Word and Excel
        • Ability to compute rate, ratio and percentages and to draw and interpret various graphs
