Job Overview:The Manufacturing Industrial Mechanic is responsible for the maintaining and repairing on site machines. In addition, the Manufacturing Industrial Mechanic is to keep machines in optimum condition to maximize the production output. This requires keeping the machines in adjustment, knowing the different settings when changing product lines, maintaining quality and productivity of machines. Responsibilities and Duties:Service, repair, adjust and test machines, devices, moving parts and equipment that operate on the basis of mechanical, electrical and pneumatic principlesTroubleshoot, install and repair systemsRepair or replace broken or malfunctioning components of industrial machinery or equipmentInspect or test damaged machine parts and mark defective areasEnsure daily completion of maintenance work ordersSkills Required:5+ years' experience in all aspects of MaintenanceKnowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair and maintenanceKnowledgeable in troubleshooting, maintaining electrical, pneumatic & hydraulic systemsKnowledge and enforcement of machine safety, i.e., lock-out/tagout procedures, hand tool safety, etc.Must have experience working in a Manufacturing environment.
